Okay well maybe not "we the people" but at least me (the people). The project page still says "The PCB files will also be published soon."

Please be patient - I am really really busy at the moment. It took me years to get round to publishing the clock, and one of the many corners I cut was leaving the PCB files until later. It's not as simple as just posting the kicad files, the values and part numbers are different to what I eventually loaded into the pick and place machine. Also some of the parts are now obsolete, which is part of the delay in making the next batch, I'm having to find replacements.

Anyway as I said before, if you're really keen just send me an email.

Would you consider posting whatever you have publicly? A warning that some of the parts are wrong would be plenty.

I don't personally have an immediate use for the PCB files, but I did a few days ago when me and a friend were fixing up some embarassing soldering failures on the hall effect sensor. We had to follow traces to try and figure out what each pad was supposed to connect to. It would've been easier to have whatever files were used to make the PCB, even if some of the part numbers are wrong.

"as I said before" - Where? I generally try and search for an existing thread, in this case that was just reading the titles of the ~10 or so threads that had activity since the mark IV video. None of them seemed relevant. You should link to more info from the project page.

Apologies, I meant in the other thread but I realise that's not obvious.

The next version of the PCB will have a wider footprint for the hall sensor, a few people have struggled with it.

The plan is to put the files up eventually, I'm just hesitant because I've been burned in the past by being careless here, even with a clear warning, people try to build it themselves and then bombard me with emails asking for help about why it doesn't work. I'm quite happy to provide as much support as is needed for building the kit, but not (yet) for those building it from scratch.

I'll update the documentation when I get a chance.
