It's one of those top things you have to build before you die.

I considered slowing it down, and added a potentiometer which promptly overheated. Created an interesting slowing-down that made it look like the arm was getting tired. Not ideal though. Plus we wouldn't want to ruin the perfectly blank case with an ugly speed dial.
