Stigosaurus is a cutlery stegosaurus. TIG refers to the welding process.

Dinosaurs were giant lizards. The most famous giant lizard of all is Godzilla. But for a Japanese native trying to learn English, "cutlery" is one of the scariest words there is.

Stegosauruses were herbivores. Stigosaurus is a skeleton – a sign of extinction – built from the very tools we use to eat meat.

Is it a statement on vegetarianism? Stigosaurus says: soon you will all be extinct, too.

Is it art? It's definitely art. But you also shouldn't discount the possibility that this was simply an excuse to practice TIG welding on stainless steel.
