Hello all, not sure why I never registered before. I noticed zsKnight seemingly out of nowhere has given an interview, and given how wild that software was I thought it'd appeal to folks here. https://youtu.be/iG-oqvj4Tqk?si=EUZiS4H3xq5EKDGR Seems especially relevant given the recent-ish amp hour podcast with the emulator chat. Look forward to hanging out here. Ian ------------- |

I listened to this while I was chamfering some stainless steel cubes. The most interesting bit was about netplay, where it makes a series of savestates and replays the inputs when packets arrive. That's pretty much exactly how rollback netcode is implement, at least on my webrtc-pong demo. I do have some fond memories of ZSNES netplay back in the day. ------------- |
