It wasn't immediately obvious to me if the USB interface has any smarts, or if it requires special VBand software. I get the feeling it's just sending dits and dahs. ** Edit -- too bad, I think their USB adapter is nothing to be excited about. Not a lot in common with your project after all. Ah interesting. Yeah looks like their hardware is just sending the key hits directly, not decoding it into keystrokes. Still, I definitely wasn't the first person to make a morse USB keyboard, and certainly won't be the last. Everyone should have a go, it's great fun (maybe). I still plan to eventually one day sell my morse code usb keyboard, I put it on a proper PCB and everything but then got distracted. One day... ------------- |
