Hi!

I have a Hamamatsu PMT and photon counter. I saw your experiment with sugar, did you get any cool other suggestions for how to use your PMT?

Sticky tape gives off light as you unroll it which should be detectable.

But the best thing to do is get hold of some kind of scintillator and build a sensitive radiation detector. If you have multiple scintillation detectors you can stack them and look for coincidence caused by cosmic rays.

If you have enough of them, you could build a gamma camera!

I planned to work with a PMT that can be used as chemiluminometer..
Please help me about how can I connect it with a data analyzing board?
What kind of output will be coming out of it?
how can i count the photons?

Which PMT are you using? Do you have a power supply for it? Is there some readout hardware you have or are you just getting an analog signal?
