Hi! I have a Hamamatsu PMT and photon counter. I saw your experiment with sugar, did you get any cool other suggestions for how to use your PMT? ------------- |

Sticky tape gives off light as you unroll it which should be detectable. But the best thing to do is get hold of some kind of scintillator and build a sensitive radiation detector. If you have multiple scintillation detectors you can stack them and look for coincidence caused by cosmic rays. If you have enough of them, you could build a gamma camera! ------------- |

I planned to work with a PMT that can be used as chemiluminometer.. Please help me about how can I connect it with a data analyzing board? What kind of output will be coming out of it? how can i count the photons? ------------- |

Which PMT are you using? Do you have a power supply for it? Is there some readout hardware you have or are you just getting an analog signal? ------------- |
