hi i have using a ne722 gateway laptop for 2 years and still is working fine, the problem is that i plug in to a usb port a shitty chinese iphone and then my computer yust turn off, i rebooted and when i plug a usb device in to the that usb port it didn´t recognize it. so why does it happened and should i buy a new usb host controller?? ------------- |

This type of problem is much easier to debug if you are running linux. You can look at the kernel messages by running dmesg and see what errors come up as you plug and unplug the device. On windows, I am not sure how you go about investigating this, but it does sound like something is broken. Are there other USB ports still working? There are usually internal hubs on most things and maybe only some of the USB hardware is damaged. Also, if there's a PCI slot, or PCIMCIA, or expresscard, you could consider adding new USB ports with an adapter. ------------- |

I can easily solve the gateway error. it mainly occur due to Internet connection which is really good for us. That's why I am use the router. if I have any issue with that go to the Last edit by mit at 9 Sep 2018, 07:32 PM ------------- |
