Hello, Last year I travelled to Porto and visited the Portuguese Centre of Photography among other places. There was a miniature camera exhibit and I immediately thought about mitxela's digital hit camera article (https://mitxela.com/projects/digital_hit_camera). There was also a spy camera exhibit which I thought was the most interesting one, but sadly it seems I didn't take any pictures of that one. I meant to post these pictures to the forum a long time ago but eventually forgot about them. So here they are, as a small curiosity, for anyone interested :) ![]() ![]() ------------- |

Interesting. I've been to a few camera fairs and there's a huge range of strange small cameras that were built in the past. Most of them used film formats that are difficult to develop today. There's a cartridge film format called 110, I'm not sure if that's what's visible at the bottom of your second picture, but there were a bunch of tiny cameras that used it including at least one SLR. Perhaps aliexpress has been listening to me, as a few new tiny digital cameras have appeared since I wrote that page. They're unfortunately just dashcams in alternate enclosures, but I've bought a few of them and they are not too far away from that dream of a teeny tiny camera. ------------- |
