hi, i have a hc 05 and i want to program a new firmware, i see a lot of videos (and also mitxela's video) that uses a lpt or a ftdi. So what i want to know if there is another way to program the hc 05 like use a usbasp or a serial port of a pc ------------- |

Hi David, the only ways of programming the chip are through the parallel port (LPT), repurposing an FTDI cable like I did, or with an official USB-SPI cable from CSR. The official cable used to be very expensive, but now they make one for about $15. To actually program the chip, all we can really do is put the software from one module onto another. The toolchain and SDK from CSR is not available to the public so we can't write our own C code for it. ------------- |

ok, so i now i have a PC that haves a LPT port. i follow the same instuctions of this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBqsVKMYz1I , but when i run blueflash it alwaws gives me an error that says "no spi transports found!" Last edit by DAVID at 25 Nov 2017, 08:45 PM ------------- |

i found the problem, that didnt work because the bluesuite version was older than that you have use ------------- |
