Hi, I followed your tutorial to convert an HC-05 module to an HID gamepad using the RN-42 firmware. Sending serial data to the bluetooth module results in a wildly flashing RX button input, though, instead of the pretty pattern of buttons. The flashing depends on the number of characters I send, so it is just one blip for a single character, but a whole bunch for something like the expected pattern (0xFD 0x06 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x55 0xAA). It's almost like it's trying to send the serial data to this one button. Everything else in the tutorial seemed to go well; I was able to rename the device just fine, and it connects to both my phone and laptop as a bluetooth hid gamepad. I tried redoing everything from the beginning, including re-uploading the firmware. The result was the same. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? ------------- |

What are you using to send serial data to it? Were you able to go into command mode and change its name etc? From what you describe it sounds like the baud rate for the serial data is wrong. ------------- |
