hi i have flash the firmware of the rn 42 to a ton of hc 06 and they work fine but when i try to do the same thing to an hc 05 it will proccess things faster than the hc 06 and even if i set the correct clock speed through ps tool it would not work. So is this problem possible to solve??? ------------- |

Not really sure what you're asking here, but I would have thought that the bluetooth radio is synchronized to the 26MHz crystal, so if that's working then it's probably in the correct configuration. Then again, these CSR chips are very (needlessly?) complicated internally. ------------- |

or i can solder a 16 mhz crystal oscillator to the smd pads ------------- |
