Hello, I think the concept would make a wonderful art piece. The hourglass is a brilliant and clear visualization that has added the benefit of alluding to the gravity/acceleration equivalence insight that Einstein had, of course. What would you estimate the cost of producing a prototype to be? I think this has the potential to be a museum piece, or at least one for a cabinet of curiosities. Tones ------------- |

Realistically I think it would take a lot of engineering work to make it into a functional item. If we simplified it a bit, got rid of the auto-flip mechanism and just had it manually reset, it probably wouldn't be too hard to make. ------------- |
